Over a year ago when I was just moving in to my apartment in Brookings I decided to turn my empty room into a giant camera. Here is the result. (click for larger images)
Now, there’s no Photoshop magic happening in these photos (besides resizing of course). What you are looking at is a “Camera Obscura,” and can be created very easily by covering a window completely with some light blocking materials such as aluminum foil and then by making a small hole in foil about the size of a quarter, letting light in. what you will see is the outside world reflected through the small hole, upside down. Essentially its just a very large pinhole camera, but try it out, its cool.
