With a new domain name to itself, a new host, as well as a much needed redesign, Gnar! is almost finished and ready for some much needed regular updates. Also, with the addition of nicmyers.com I have achieved a new level of geek, and can even have my email address be nicmyers@nicmyers.com….wow…

PackageMapper.comYes, yet another mapping post today, but anyhow, Armed with Google Maps and Ruby on Rails, PackageMapper.com visually tracks your packages as they meander around the US on the back of a brown or white truck. Call me crazy, but I like to know where my packages are at, and now I can. The only problem with the site is that the map is not updated as much as I’d like, but then again they do have limited resources so A+ for effort. Go check out PackageMapper.com.

So there you are, your ultimate gaming machine that you got for Christmas is just booting up for the first time. After spending all that money buying a case with windows, glowing fans and UV reactive cables, you’d expect that what’s displayed on the screen to look as good as the machine sitting on the desk right? Well, when it finally loads the desktop you’ll see the painful realization that your 1337 gaming machine is far from just that. Lets face it, the Windows Default (blue) theme is less than stellar.
