Pandora
If you like finding new music I highly recommend checking out Pandora. It is a web application that you simply give it a name of a artist or song and it play’s music like it. It really does work and offers great definitions of the music being played, such as for the Get up Kids it says:
“We played this track because it features mild rhythmic syncopation, a subtle use of vocal harmony, major key tonality, mixed acoustic and electric instrumentation and many other similarities identified in the music genome project.”
Simply amazing.
Site Updates
I’m currently in the process of reworking the layout of the site a bit. Currently my menu system and layout is broken in internet explorer so if you’re using currently, your shouldn’t be, unless you have a great excuse. Anyway, here’s my plan for the site as told by the nifty little bullets.
- Photos – I take a lot of photos, and they need to be somewhere other than my
hard drive. - Better Theme – I want to merge the highlights of this theme with K2 for better features
- Browser Support – IE sucks but I have to design for it anyway, grrr
- Cleaned up sidebar – self explanatory
